With 20+ years’ experience in strategy development, user experience, and program management, Scott applies research insights and human-centered design to discover new opportunities, solve problems, and create meaningful touch points for customers to connect, collaborate, and access information in new and inventive ways.
Scott has had the privilege to serve as a people manager and mentor for user experience researchers and design professionals. He strives to create a safe and inclusive workplace for individuals to express their passions and ideas, and provide guidance and accountability to help them grow their talents achieve career success.
He extends his expertise into the world of education as an instructor and curriculum advisor of University of Washington Professional and Continuing Education non-credit certificate program in UX and Visual Interface Design. Over the past four years, he has successfully cultivated a learning environment for students to foster critical design thinking and professional development skills in pursuit of their own career advancement in the design field.
